Return Policy 

Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral Bookstore (ROCOR)

Thank you for supporting the Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral through your purchases. Because many of our items are devotional, blessed, or made in limited quantities, we maintain the following return and refund policy.

All Sales Are Final

Most items sold through the ROC Bookstore are final sale, including:

  • Icons
  • Books
  • Candles & devotional goods
  • Incense & charcoal
  • Holy water bottles & sacred items
  • Prosphora items
  • Seasonal and holiday items
  • Clearance items
  • Digital or downloadable items

For health, safety, and ecclesiastical reasons, we cannot accept returns on these products.

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • A photo of the issue

We will gladly replace the item or issue a store credit if a replacement is unavailable.

Incorrect Addresses / Failed Deliveries

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for:

  • additional shipping costs, and
  • reshipment fees

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Local Pickup Orders

Orders marked for local pickup must be collected within 14 days unless other arrangements are made.

Unclaimed orders are considered donations and will not be refunded.

Donations & Pledges

All donations, sponsorships, pledges, or contributions made through the ROC Store are:

  • non-refundable,
  • not returnable, and
  • considered charitable gifts to the Cathedral.

Event Tickets & Special Orders

  • Event tickets (Soirée, concerts, classes, fundraisers) are non-refundable.
  • Special orders or custom orders cannot be canceled once submitted.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges except in the case of damaged or defective merchandise.

Thank you for supporting the Cathedral through your purchase. Below is our shipping policy for all online orders.

ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

Orders are processed within 3–5 business days (Monday–Friday), excluding major feast days and holidays.
During feast seasons or fundraising campaigns, processing times may be slightly longer.

SHIPPING METHODS

We ship using:

  • USPS
  • UPS

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

We do not guarantee carrier delivery times.

LOCAL PICKUP

Local pickup is available at designated times.

  • Pickup must be completed within 14 days.
  • Unclaimed orders are considered donations and are non-refundable.

Pickup details will be emailed after checkout.

SHIPPING DELAYS

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • carriers
  • weather
  • holidays
  • incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • customs or postal issues

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Once an order is marked delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for:

  • packages lost after delivery
  • stolen packages
  • packages delivered to the wrong address provided by the customer

Customers must file a claim with the shipping carrier.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

If an incorrect address is provided:

  • customer is responsible for reshipment fees
  • shipping fees are non-refundable

We cannot guarantee rerouting.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If your shipment arrives damaged:

Include photos of:

  • the packaging
  • the damaged item
  • the shipping label

We will replace the item or issue store credit if replacement is unavailable.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

At this time, we do not ship internationally.

DONATIONS, PLEDGES & TICKETS

These items do not ship and are non-refundable.
They are processed as charitable contributions.
